For me this is one of the better popular explanations of the origin of the universe . But the so called " singularity " IN THE BEGINNING where INFINITE energy is concentrated into an infinitely small " point " is conceptually meaningless. To be sure , WE begin in MYSTERY for which there is no SCIENTIFIC explanation. But up to that " point " the SCIENCE is highly credible and self-confident . As a non-scientist I am quite satisfied to learn what happened AFTER the first three minutes. Leave some room for Spinoza's God ( as did Albert Einstein ) or even for the Biblical " Genesis " : " LET THERE BE LIGHT " ( explains " why there is something rather than nothing " ) . But recall the warning of the now world famous , Providence , Rhode Island horror writer H.P.
