I have personally experienced PEDESTRIAN UNFRIENDLY Warwick, Rhode Island. Living with my brother Ray ( then a radio officer with the Warwick Police Dept. ) on Church Ave. back in the late 1990s , I often observed drivers ignoring people at nearby crosswalks . Also these crosswalks were few and far between . And Warwick streets after dark were poorly lit. What is true of Warwick, Rhode Island is true of the other heavily populated cities of Rhode Island . Too many innocent pedestrians have been sacrificed to " Moloch Motor Vehicle " !
