Police brutality -in general - was very well explained long ago by Marxist social critics. And Vladimir Lenin elaborated on the role of the police in capitalist society in his revolutionary pamphlet " State and Revolution " . By the end of 1917 Lenin and his Bolshevik communist party were in power in Russia , having overthrown the Czar to the cheers of the workers of the whole world. Above all the police are there to protect capitalist private property rights - not the public from villains ( that is accidental ) . In 1968 - THE YEAR of the Tumultuous Sixties - a vexed Mayor Daley, after the chaos and violence of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, asserted : " The police man is not there to create disorder. The policeman is there to preserve disorder ". Today in 2022 the American capitalist -imperialist system is supported by lies and brutality . The WOKE , " progressive " Democratic Party is setting up an Orwellian police state. They are now telling you that " WAR IS PEACE , FREEDOM IS SLAVERY , IGNORANCE is STRENGTH ". The oh-so-LIBERAL Democrats !
