The Democrats are now a silly , WOKE , self-destructing party


 @Bill Hicks  As a life long democratic socialist I view the TWO PARTY SYSTEM as the basic tool of capitalist class, Corporate America rule in the United States. Ralph Nader held this view from way back . I voted for Nader twice which makes me and any INDEPENDENT voter a pariah among " liberal " , " progressive " Democrats. Neither the Republicans nor the Democrats are capable of betraying their ruling class masters. Soon after Donald Trump was legitimately ( by THEIR own Constitution ) elected president of the United States in 2016 the DNC started to promote the HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism . They smeared Trump ( I don't think it is right even to smear obnoxious plutocrats ) as a white supremacist, a homophobe, the leader of all those " deplorable " working class Christians , even as an anti-Semite ( and while very popular in Israel ) . And for decades now the mainstream news media - the very voice of the DNC - has shown complete contempt for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization . Those nasty Republicans in recent years DO show more respect for FREE SPEECH and religious freedom. Hardly a " liberal " Democrat who does not feel compelled to routinely bash the Catholic Church associating good decent Catholics with odious HATERS . They are now a silly WOKE , self-destructing party . No triumphs for them in 2022 or 2024. They are completely out of touch with WORKING CLASS Americans o all races and ethnic groups.

A still familiar face from my Washington Park years . A good friend of mine back then was one TRUE ORIGINAL named Don Plante . Greg was his brother in law , younger brother of Don's wife Diane . Is Greg still in business ? But I have never needed a lawyer. Best wishes to all " Washington Park Friends ". So many recognized names have passed away - all of just precious MOMENTS -IN -TIME .
The TRUE ORIGINAL Don Plante died in 1997 ( ? ) I recall .

 I just heard a woman complain at the desk of the Knightsville Public Library in Cranston that " THEY " are trying to get rid of " Huckleberry Finn " , " To Kill a Mockingbird " ..." These books are classics ", she went on.

And Woodrow Wilson's " Fourteen Points " were a formula for eternal peace on earth . Suffering German civilians and their starving children were no small factor in bringing on World War II . Bring on nuclear World War III ? For nearly two centuries both American foreign policy and British imperialism were all about a profound respect for SOVEREIGN people on all continents ? All this Wilsonian blather about SOVEREIGN nations , " OUR democracy " , and ballyhooed FREEDOM( so much evident during nearly three miserable , SUFFOCATING years of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States and in Europe ) rings true for intelligent , informed American citizens ?
