I was most impressed with the above Trotsky quote explaining the roots of fascism way back in the " tumultuous 60s " era. For me it has completely stood the test of time. The whole force of SCIENCE is behind the truth that humanity is ONE - no racial or ethnic differences explain as much as a footnote of history.
" HATE " is always ugly enough - but no democratic socialist would brainlessly applaud a political charlatan war against it -isolated from the fundamental economic inequality of the capitalist social order.
Last time I checked every major world religion preached loving kindness for your " neighbor " and " the stranger in a strange land "
" Identity politics " did not discover love and toleration. But " liberal " Democrats have made a racket of " identity politics " and so called political correctness.
How can an American voter who was at least impressed by the CLASS issues raised by the Bernie Sanders' campaign in 2016 now suddenly show up in the streets shouting that HATE and RACISM is the major issue here ? And right after a nightmare threat of nuclear World War III.
Nice to know that the Trump Junta and " progressive " Democrats are prepared to incinerate millions of North Koreans or Iranians or Russians or Chinese - with only mystical love in their hearts for EVERYBODY.
What would their righteous God think about that ?
