Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

Any tears shed for three centuries of WAGE SLAVERY ?
I can't imagine ANY working class person in the throes of CLASS oppression ( in all its varied forms ) losing sleep over ruling class imposed , grandiose and ridiculous monuments to the butchers of history.
The ruling class today figures it is good psychological strategy to punish the ghosts of " heroes " unmasked as villains by writers like the late Harvard professor Howard Zinn ( " People's History of the United States " ). I just read him on Christopher Columbus . But I do not want to throw rocks at the Italian navigator's monument in Providence- somewhere in " America ".
That puts a halo of righteousness on today's enlightened , politically correct plutocracy. Nope, nothing wrong here !
Do the petty bourgeois " identity politics " activists make a fuss over all those numerous monuments to capitalist " philanthropists " of Industrial Revolution - made Newport Mansion rich like Cornelius Vanderbilt ?
Any tears shed for three centuries of WAGE SLAVERY ?
