Gays and lesbians of the Beat Generation - Allen Ginsberg, for
example - integrated their sexual liberation into a broader socialist
political philosophy. I can't imagine any of them supporting that Queen
of the Status Quo, Hillary Clinton, if they were still around today.
Ginsberg's cult classic poem " Howl " was also a protest against greedy
insane capitalism and militarism.
