There is a character in a horror story - an obviously mad
scientist - who tells skeptical colleagues : " Crazy am I ? I'll show
YOU who's CRAZY ! " And he does .
Most of the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee - eager to
impeach the President of the United States - with frivolous charges -
are acting just like that movie madman . They are determined to tell
the vast majority of Americans -opposed to impeachment : " We will show
YOU who's CRAZY ! " And so they WILL stir the ship of state -FULL SPEED
AHEAD - toward that impudent and uncontrite iceberg . And so we may end
up swimming in very cold waters in mid -winter.
Early this morning in the twilight of consciousness , I heard a
Republican genius say on the radio : " There is no such thing as a non-
serious lie ". But this was the perfect example of it !
How many Republicans get elected by never telling lies ?
" Read my lips ! "
