Anybody for socialized medication ?

I recently read somewhere that the Castro regime literally

rammed vitamin pills down the throats of Cuban children... and thereby

succeeded in eliminating a number of serious malnourishment problems.

This is one example, you might say, of " benevolent dictatorship ".

And Castro here is to be commended. He had too much common sense to

think : " I must not interfere with the sacred rights of the family ! " ,

Would it not be " progressive "  medicine to add vitamin pills

to school lunch programs in the United States ?  Remember it is not so

much " hunger " as malnourishment that harms growing children .

Would the kids eschew  Flintstone's  Chewable vitamins - " complete

with calcium, iron, and minerals "  ?

Ask Wilma ! You can always count on a woman's intuition .

That Allan Shawn Feinstein should stock up on multiple vitamins. He

can at least be EFFICIENT !
