Witness describes final moments of Alabama prisoner Kenneth Smith killed...

We are ALL sentenced to DEATH the day we are born . Innocent human beings suffer long and agonizing deaths in hospitals and nursing homes. I witnessed a woman crying in pain last Saturday in the Rhode island Hospital Emergency Room.( I was there only for high blood pressure and might have been better off at Newport Creamery ) Others dying might have better luck at reputable Hospice centers. But what French philosopher and Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus had to say about the death penalty still rings true : [ “But what then is capital punishment but the most premeditated of murders, to which no criminal's deed, however calculated it may be, can be compared? For there to be equivalence, the death penalty would have to punish a criminal who had warned his victim of the date at which he would inflict a horrible death on ] ― Albert Camus Reply
