Only scientifically illiterate persons would deny climate CHANGE whatever role homo sapiens plays in it in our geological era. The 4 + billion year history of Earth shows evidence of dramatic climate change from TOO HOT FOR LIFE to SNOWBALL EARTH. Whatever the CAUSE , we must try to live with it as a species specialized in adapting to the environment. I am sure that GLOBAL ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE - itself SOVEREIGN - can rise above nation-state conflicts and give us a globally PLANNED ECONOMY. Such a planned world economy would be incompatible with capitalism and imperialism wherever they now rule. . I believe that the late great popular science writer Isaac Asimov warned the world about global warming way back in 1987 ( see his You Tube video ) . Quite often Asimov seemed to favor the idea of WORLD GOVERNMENT.
