Democratic socialists support any and all strikes of workers in nursing homes in Connecticut. All these shocking deaths of elderly in nursing homes in the past year can be attributed to our FOR PROFIT healthcare system-- not the covid-19 pandemic alone. The owners of these nursing homes exploit the conscience of the good workers employed by them. And long before the pandemic understaffing was a chronic problem in nursing homes. Along with frequent cuts in Medicaid and Medicare. Trust them with your loved ones?
