Was Beat Generation writer Jack Kerouac all wrong- or quite right - about " THE JEWS " ? [ He said that Jews were " the real Nazis " . THAT was not alcoholism talking !]

[ " Yes, American writer Jack Kerouac did express negative and antisemitic views about Jewish people. In his later years, particularly as his mental and physical health declined due to alcoholism and drug abuse, Kerouac held onto conspiracy theories and expressed prejudices against Jews, according to Homework.Study.com. Some examples of his negative statements include: In one of his final interviews, he claimed that Jews had "taken over the literary world" and were conspiring against him. He also believed Jews were part of a communist plot to corrupt American youth. He expressed these views repeatedly and held the opinion that the Jewish writer Allen Ginsberg, one of his closest friends, was a tool of the Communists who were trying to corrupt American youth. He is also reported to have stated to Kurt Vonnegut that Jews were "the real Nazis". It is important to acknowledge that despite these negative and antisemitic views, Kerouac also had close Jewish friends, most notably Allen Ginsberg. This highlights a complex and contradictory aspect of his personal life and beliefs. " ]
