There is a lot of trash all around the lake and on the path. Someone has gone as far to throw shopping carts into the lake. It’s definitely the least safe trail that we’ve walked together so far. You can tell that the bones of the foundation of the paved trail and fence was developed with care and is still in good shape. This trail is in such a public and centrally located area that it’s ashamed that it has been trashed to the point that it’s accessibility is pointless. There are some truly beautiful and unique looking trees around the pond that makes us tempted to almost come back. " ] NOTE : In my walk a few days ago ( August 25) I did not find the pond to be blighted . In fact I though the pond to be BEAUTIFUL !
