Trump's 50% tariffs on India may lead to ‘more staggering price increases’ [ Are WE working class and lower middle class people heavily invested in our own exploitation and oppression ? ]

The most effete and dangerous emotion in the world today is patriotic nationalism - the same in the United States as in Israel, the same in Russia as in China, the same in Pakistan as in India , the same in Ukraine as in Poland . WAR is always a function of society's ruling class . Nowhere do ordinary people plan or start wars . Do WE walk around daily with an ax to grind against China or Russia or Iran or North Korea or Venezuela ? Just what are the interests of the working class and lower middle class Americans in the drives of American imperialism and Israeli Zionism ? Are we heavily invested in our own exploitation and oppression ? So I recall with fondness this bit of wisdom from the " Tumultuous Sixties ' : " What if THEY start a war and nobody shows up ? " Do not expect much in the way of " moral guidance " from the bought and sold mainstream news media in " OUR democracy " !
