As a longtime independent democratic socialist I note that the nearly universal contempt for Robert F. Kennedy on the Left is rather incongruous with their daily ( mostly phony ) criticism of capitalism. Should not our FOR PROFIT health care system make the so called far-Left cynical about the medical establishment promoted vaccines and ALL prescription medicine advertised brainlessly on TV and radio ? I cannot applaud Kennedy joining the Trump team ( when will Kennedy fall out of favor with American Fuhrer Donald Trump ? ). But I and many of my family thought that RFK Jr. had some refreshing credibility during the COVID-19 pandemic when the obnoxious authoritarianism of the capitalist state boarded on the ridiculous . I recall Governor Gina Raimondo here in Rhode Island giving daily marching orders in the manner of Italian dictator Mussolini . The lemmings on the Left are no more endearing than the TRUE BELIEVERS on the Right .
