I prefer the traditional Marxist interpretation of THE LAW . In general, IDEAS , including legal ideas ,do not fall down from heavenly skies.For what sector of the ruling CLASS does this conservative judge THINK ? There can be no DIVINE wisdom in any written country's constitution . Does our excellent Constitution inform the capitalist ruling class that the exploitation and oppression of the working class is perfectly legal as is war on the ruling class and the working class of other nations ? When did OUR Constitution authorize the present TWO PARTY SYSTEM ? In fact , when did it ever decide -before modern science and DNA - when HUMAN life begins ? FUNDAMENTALISM in reading the Constitution of the United States is as brainless as fundamentalism in reading the Old Testament of the Holy Bible . Just when ,for example, should we suffer a witch not to live ? It might be easier to rule on the legal wisdom of keeping Donald Trump off the ballot for the 2024 presidential election.
