Inspired from youth by Albert Camus' sense of the Absurd, I try to be a voice for REASON in the growing darkness and moral insanity of global capitalism .

Portrait of a radical at Rhode Island Junior College in 1968
[ "The Rhode Island Junior College Years,” the book chronicles the development of the college from its foundation in 1964 as Rhode Island Junior College through the institution’s name change in 1980 to Community College of Rhode Island. Today the community college boasts 54,000 alumni, many of whom were students during the Junior College years and helped establish the community college as New England’s largest. " ]
NOTE : I received an Associate in Arts degree from the now named Community College of Rhode Island when it was name Rhode Island Junior College ( which snobs pronounced RIJC as " REJECT " ) . Back then it was a very respectable higher education school in Rhode Island. I did study Calculus, Statistics, Technical Physics, Philosophy of Religion , Conversational Spanish, and " Literature of Protest " ( in which class I am sure I shined ) :
" Now class , what do you think will become of the character Holden Caulfied in " Catcher in the Rye " ?
MY answer : " He's going to become a communist ! ".
