As a longtime independent democratic socialist may I suggest that religion does NOT poison children nearly as permanently and fatally as the wars of American imperialism ( napalm, and illegal defoliants, Vietnam ) and Israeli Zionism ( Gaza, Palestine genocide ). The New Atheist Cult celebs are studiously mum on the evil of global capitalism, American imperialism, and Israeli Zionism. For them the key to a better world ? Just HATE GOD and HATE RELIGION and spit on FAITH ?
