While browsing thes shelves at the Cranston Public Library this big reference book caught my attention . Reading about the world about to explode in August 1914 reminded me of the world today where we are seeing a revival of blatant imperialism and neo-colonialism. Mentioned in the pages that I browsed was the outbreak of : Revolution in Russia " . Clearly the working class in all the countries involved in the " Great War " ( here " the war to make the world safe for democracy " ) was seething with revolutionary anger . There was much sympathy among the common people for the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 .
Will the masses today stupidly accept yet again a " World at War " ?
