Shutting down school libraries signals the beginning of a new " high tech " Dark Age

This growing OFFICIAL contempt for school and public libraries signals the beginning of a new " high tech " Dark Age. Talk about books AND libraries being obsolete is ignorant drivel. I am reminded of the late champion of THE LIBRARY fantasy writer Ray Bradbury : [ "Bradbury had long been a supporter of public libraries and often commented on their importance to his life. 'Libraries raised me,” he said. “I believe in libraries because most students don’t have any money...I couldn’t go to college, so I went to the library three days a week for ten years.' "] Show less
