Seeing this case against Trump from the perspective of an independent, democratic socialist I can only laugh at obtuse bourgeois LAW and pompous ass judges who interpret it -never free from ideological ties to the Democratic Party or to the Republican Party. Karl Marx said way back in 1848 that THE LAW is never above the CLASS STRUGGLE. Is plutocrat Trump on a much lower moral level than the the rest of the American plutocracy , lower than the gang that controls " Deep State ", the CIA , the FBI , the Pentagon War Crimes Dept. ? The JUST JUDGES would have us believe that " No man is above the law ". This will only get a sardonic laugh from any poor working class prisoner languishing in prison for petty violations of legally sacrosanct PRIVATE PROPERTY. And for not being able to afford a competent lawyer. The American Gulag embodies the wonderful principle that " No man is above the law ". I am not the only democratic socialist noting how many shyster lawyers ,attached to the Democratic Party, have formed a united front against one man . Is this prosecution or legal persecution ? The polls practically shout that ordinary Americans are convinced that THE LAW is a flunkey of politics . The USA of 2023 has a very divided ruling class. But this class collectively will alway agree on the wickedness of SOCIALISM ! A Bernie Sanders among them will always be reduced to impotence. But he can still hustle votes for " lesser evil " Democrats.
