When I first heard this story on the radio this morning I recalled a super weird movie titled " Carnival of Souls " . The movie begins with a car loaded with passengers including the strange haunted female star of the story recklessly driving off a high bridge and plunging into the flowing, muddy, indifferent river below. THE END for her is a ghastly danse macabre. The pitiful loneliness of ANY person's death ! And the dead driver " one fatality " ( ? ) in the WJAR news story ? Did HE have an OUT OF BODY interview with a creepy psychiatrist in the TWILIGHT ZONE hours before they found the corpse ? Was that an eerie church organ he heard playing as in " Carnival of Souls " : " In Life We Are In Death " ?
