Senator Whitehouse ethics investigation - of course , Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should be ashamed of himself

For our corrupt Congress- and especially Rhode Island Senator Whitehouse - to investigate the no doubt dubious high personal ethics of our venerable Supreme Court justices deserves at least a sardonic smile. To be sure , THE LAW itself in capitalist USA is not above the social and economic muck below . Karl Marx explained long ago that THE LAW , in the final analysis , expresses the collective will of the ruling class. And no decent American would suspect that our wonderful , oh-so democratically elected , members of Congress and the Senate are themselves subservient and easily bribed by Corporate America , besotted by extravagant displays of wealth ? And as a long time independent democratic socialist I must ask : What can be more RIGGED than our TWO PARTY SYSTEM ? In a way, Corporate America never loses ! Senator Sheldon Whitehouse himself could never have his head turned by any of those rich people with their seductive mansions in Newport , Rhode Island ? ( at least he comes clean on environmental issues ) . And who is that Black Supreme Court judge with one " friendly " billionaire friend ? Judge Clarence Thomas should be ashamed of himself !
