Corporate America , our capitalist ruling class, will only " appreciate " the nation's teachers only to the degree that are successful in poisoning the minds of young people against any rational alternative to capitalist exploitation and oppression , and cultivating in their students toxic " patriotism " , a jackass respect for flag waving militarism , and numbing their still innocent souls for nuclear World War III with POST-COMMUNIST Russia in defense of the " American Way of Life " - which is not the " Way of Life " of 100 million working class CHRISTIAN families in the United States. Ordinary Americans appreciate more modest success from teachers : before high school graduation kids actually learn functional reading , writing, and arithmetic .
