Rhode Island Rep. Charlene Lima's " strong message " to petty " smash-and-grab delinquent youth ( mostly Black youth ? )

["I think we need to hop on this now, stop them now, and send them a strong message, not here in Rhode Island," said state Rep. Charlene Lima, the sponsor of bill H.7702.
NBC 10's Molly Levine talks the Rhode Island lawmaker sponsoring a bill that calls for a mandatory 10-year sentence for smash-and-grab crimes.
The bill would create a mandatory prison sentence of 10 years for two or more people who break into a business with the intent to steal. ]
Such a draconian measure for relatively petty crimes sponsored by a WOKE " liberal " Rhode Island Democrat , state Rep. Charlene Lima !
This only shows just who these WOKE " liberals " really represent: not the ordinary working class people of Rhode Island - but the vicious and angry capitalist class of large and small business owners .
Does their small minded moral indignation ever get focused on larger social justice concerns -like the " American Gulag " prison system ? Like the utter failure of " OUR democracy " to create a social order even approaching economic equality ? They never think outside the box of FOR PROFIT, SACROSANCT PRIVATE PROPERTY CAPITALISM. Of course , they will never solve the homeless problem.
We democratic socialists deplore extra-legal delinquency and the unproductive activity of "lumpen- proletariat " street gangs. And all mindless violence, mostly by the neglected , alienated souls of the depressed and oppressed poor. Here in the USA the so called " GOOD LIFE " is never within reach of even half of the law-abiding population.
But THEIR solution , the general solution for all " progressive " Democrats is to keep voting for Democrats , especially to keep THEM in office. So nothing ever changes - decade after decade .
