So here the city government is just so eager to PROTECT people ? Does it every occur to any obtuse traffic court judge that $50.00 is not EQUAL punishment for all offenders ? If you are poor working class family man, that fine can ruin you . If you are a comfortable middle class person, it just stings a little . The bourgeois legal system of American capitalism prefers not to recognize the everyday reality of economic CLASS. By the way , check out the CLASS background of most prisoners. It is much more significant than RACE .
