The optimistic spirit for Pawtucket is not what we experience today. In this short film one is led to expect the equivalent of Mayor Cianci's Providence Renaissance. Still when I drive around Pawtucket with my friend or walk around it as a pedestrian I feel its haunting appeal. Perhaps a Railroad Renaissance can save these old cities of Rhode Island.
