There has been too much over-reaction - on the Left ( mostly pseudo-Left ) - to perceived racism, sexism, homophobia, anti-Semitism . " Progressive " should not be the same as neurotically sensitive.
Good manners are always commendable . But it is wrong that talented individuals - in this age of instant social media communication- can be instantly ruined by something just SAID . Something SAID can be quickly UNSAID upon recovering sobriety or your better self.

Schlossberg's opinion -in itself - is hardly UNCOMMON . But I wonder if this is a case of pre-senile dementia. A sad family member probably knows for sure. It is often not wise to follow a mob even to do righteous good !
