No principled third parties ( Socialist , Libertarian , Christian Conservative ? ) in 2020 presidential election ?

      One major flaw of " OUR democracy " is , of course , the capitalist TWO PARTY SYSTEM . Where does the Constitution of the United States authorize only these two parties : the Democratic Party and the Republican  Party ?

    The mainstream news media pretends perennially that various third parties have nothing serious to contribute to " OUR democracy " .

            Since Trump's 2016 election shock the Democrats have been promoting the HATE RUSSIA, New McCarthyism . While President Trump and Republicans -in this Corona virus pandemic- are promoting the new and revised " Yellow Peril ".

                As a long time democratic socialist - all too wary of a Stalinist revival on the Left ( a sickening contempt for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization) - I see the need for a contending American Labor Party - which will give millions more Americans of all races and ethnic groups a real say in " OUR democracy "  . And much needed ECONOMIC democracy !

    My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I will show you a blood sucker " . Not for nothing both Malcolm X and Martin Luther King made a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism. Both opposed the criminal Vietnam War.

Apartheid Israel sponsors " Big Blue Bug " message ?

      There must be some old fashioned " liberals " in Rhode Island who see the irony of Apartheid Israel - not the local Jewish community - sponsoring  this :

[PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — The Big Blue Bug in Providence is not only sporting his pandemic face mask, but is also displaying a banner calling for an end to anti-Semitism.

The banner was commissioned by the Rhode Island Coalition for Israel and has been up since July 13.

Blue Bug Solutions said they regularly post banners with the bug on Route 95 for non-profits groups as a public service.]

         Long ago  Zionism was branded a form of racism by the United Nations. Should it not be easier for most black Americans - mostly working class and poor- to identify with the dispossessed and oppressed Palestinians ( " They look more like us ! )  than with the sentiments of neo-con, affluent  Jews forever defending the indefensible Apartheid system of Israel ?

              The only force that can counter crude anti-Semitism in the United States is the public voice of Jewish democratic socialists who condemn the social injustice of capitalism and imperialism as practiced by both Isreal and the United States.

          These voices are not heard in the Democratic Party .

  

Cut US nuclear arsenal " update " funding - SAVE THE WORKING CLASS !

        Millions of  working class and the always "  desperate class " Americans  face a capitalist designed economic abyss.  Interviewed on TV news, a young black mother in tears  feared losing her home. There were  just no sane preparations by our ruling class for national emergencies -like this Corona Virus  pandemic .

                          None of the " progressive "  Democrats dare talk about drastic cuts to the military budget . A few years ago they approved a trillion dollar update project for US nuclear weapons systems.

                  If the American capitalist social order or the " American Way of Life " are  devastated by a virus molecule , what chance does it have  on " The Day After " a nuclear attack ?

          Any democratic socialist can feel the drum beat of revolutionary wrath in the United States - every bit as explosive as France in 1789 or Russia in 1917.

          Soon it will be all about CLASS not race .  The American plutocracy, the ONE PERCENT, is equally contemptuous of ALL working class -and middle class - Americans whatever their race or ethnic group.

                     WE THE PEOPLE will not be lining up patiently on November 3 to vote for " Sleepy Joe " Biden.

                     WE will socially distance ourselves from the corrupt TWO PARTY SYSTEM forever.

Capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY right stymies Corona Epidemic fight

     It is quite obvious to any real democratic socialist that capitalist private property rights - including " intellectual property " rights - are sabotaging the collective fight against the Corona virus pandemic.  The capitalist inspired legal system is ruining millions of lives - the American- Way- of Life Gone- with- the- Wind - in the fifth month of the public health crisis. It does seem that a nasty virus has wrecked the Empire

            PRIVATE PROPERTY considerations should not overwhelm the  general welfare , the collective good.

             Just consider the nursing home scandal : MOST of the dead are nursing home residents as helpless as Nazi concentration camp prisoners. Long before the Corona pandemic conditions were deplorable in the FOR PROFIT health care nursing homes and hospitals.

              I am not surprised that workers at Bannister House and Charlesgate nursing homes are about to go on strike. The hypocritical owners and management shed crocodile tears for the elderly residents. WE THE PEOPLE should support striking health care workers.

             What does Governor Gina Raimondo propose to do with the thousands of homeless people in Rhode Island.? A democratic socialist government would sacrifice  capitalist landlord rights FIRST !

   

Polls deceptive on " Sleepy Joe Biden " - no third party challenge ?

          It is a joke of history that Establishment pillar Joe Biden is the darling of the Left  -now applauded by the so called " Far Left ".  If Biden is " Far-Left " - according to the Republican " Far Right " ,how does he fit in with Marx and Lenin and Trotsky and that " American Bolshevik " Eugene V. Debs ?

                 More than a century ago OUR Debs explained that the Democratic Party was as much a tool of the American plutocracy as the Republican Party - just more deceiving and treacherous.

      Would Biden be leading in any honest polls if there were announced a third party presidential candidate -like Ralph Nader in the recent past ?

          As a life long INDEPENDENT democratic socialist I can't picture angry working class America - which includes most black Americans - lining up patiently on November 3  for hours , socially distancing - to vote for that super-progressive Joe Biden . WHO  now represents anti-capitalism and anti-imperialism among " progressive Democrats ?

         By the way there was always much social distancing between America's working class and  America's privileged class , the ONE PERCENT .

   

DNC, news media based New McCarthyism preferable to President Trump ?

    None of the " far left "  Democrats care to notice how the party establishment has adopted a New McCarthyism tone in their half-cracked attacks on the Republican president Donald Trump.  Even White House reporters sound like Cold War era John Birch Society " patriotic " zealots.

                  Just WHO decided that post-communist  Russia was still  arch-enemy of " OUR democracy " ? Does " OUR democracy " today recommend itself to the rest of the world ?  The last few months are showing the American capitalist system in all its oppressive ugliness. The future can only bring " survival socialism " or " survival fascism ".   To be sure , the Democratic Party- VICTORIOUS in 2020- will never give us even a whiff of " democratic socialism ".

              The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are just RIGHT and LEFT political profiles of the American ruling class. A vote for Trump or Biden in November is a vote for more capitalist social order lunacy and belligerent foreign policy imperialism. A vote for Depression and War . And no end to racism -which has deep CLASS roots.

              We need a mass American Labor Party which can truly speak for socialist writer Michael Harrington's " Other America ".

        Talk radio personality Gene Valicenti ( 630WPRO) says he agrees with the sentiment " Black Lives Matter " but is alarmed by self-proclaimed " Marxists " who founded the " Black Lives Matter " political activist organization .

               Hardly anybody on the so- called " far left " of the Democratic Party or on the " far right " of the Republican Party - hardly  any editor or reporter of the mainstream news media - shows much intellectual honesty about  pristine Marxism before the totalitarian nightmares of the 20th century. 

                 Nowhere in the writing of Karl Marx  will you find any dogmatic justification for the fatuous " identity politics " and the vacuous " political correctness " of the Neo-Democratic Party - now led by that flaming radical " Sleepy Joe Biden " . Nowhere contempt for the FREE SPEECH, FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization.

                  Much that the mainstream news media describes as racial injustice is more fundamentally CLASS injustice in the capitalist system. Not for nothing both American black leaders Martin Luther King and MalcolmX had a negative attitude toward American capitalism and condemned American imperialist adventures. 

                The ruling class groups  who are overlords of the Democratic Party think they can calm black rage in the streets with Joe Biden and support for black capitalism.  Picture all these angry black voters lining up to vote ESTABLISHMENT DEMOCRAT on Election Day 2020 ?

        I heard  on local radio news this morning that Rhode Island senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse joined the Bristol 4th of July parade in a military vehicle. The two along with Congressman David  Cicilline are big voice blowhards for the DNC based HATE RUSSIA New McCarthyism.

            How can honest liberals ( any left ? ) not see that patriotic belligerence is incongruous with  suffusive anti-racist sentiments  ? Both American black leaders Martin Luther King and Malcolm X made a connection between racism and imperialism, between racism and CAPITALISM..

                 Defunding the military-industrial complex will improve the lives of black people more than JOE BIDEN FOR PRESIDENT and brainless vandalism against public monuments of the nation's great leaders ( for all their flaws ) .

       NOTE : Christopher Columbus brought germ warfare to the New World ? Before Louis Pasteur and the invention of the microscope , before the germ theory of disease ?

  

Can the Democratic Party be both militantly anti-racist and also promote the HATE RUSSIA New McCarthyism ?

             What kind of " far left " SOCIALISM   and " Marxism " ( the far right view )  in the now Joe Biden led Democratic Party can wink at the HATE Russia New McCarthyism ?  World War III on top of the Corona Virus Pandemic !

      Why on earth would Vladimir Putin need to bribe the Taliban in Afghanistan - now occupied by American imperialism for 20 years! - to harass and attack ( with a bounty ! ) American troops just eager to come home ? Putin is that stupid ?

                   " Defund the police! "  slogan  fits in with what the great Russian revolutionary Vladimir Lenin taught about the nature of the capitalist state in his pamphlet written way back in 1917 : " The State and Revolution ".  

         Only a mass American Labor Party - completely independent of the Democratic Party - can LEAD a peaceful democratic socialist revolution in the USA.
