" Black Lives Matter " movement ideologically obtuse ?

        The public voices of  " Black Lives Matter " seem to have no ideological perspective -despite the "  far left "  label on the far right.  In the not so dead past black American leaders Martin Luther King and Malcolm X- both assassinated with FBI intrigue- made a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism. My favorite Malcolm quote : " Show me a capitalist and I will show you a bloodsucker ".

                 The American ruling class can remove all the obnoxious public symbols of racism but that will not change the CLASS status of the vast majority of black Americans. Today THEY -the still ONE PERCENT - offer Joe Biden to the black voters as THE solution to  the smoldering fury at CLASS oppression and exploitation.

                   What was the 2016 USA presidential election all about but rage at the Establishment ?  Joe Biden -a pillar of the Establishment !

       The American working class - of all races and ethnic groups- has nothing to gain from a Biden presidency or from Trump's re-election.

        The Great French Revolution of 1789 and the Russian Revolution of 1917 inspired hope for decades for  human EQUALITY.

        WE THE PEOPLE need a mass party of the working class - an American Labor Party .  Such a party - a break from ruling class political dominance - can guide social change away from chaos, anarchy , and self-defeating " terrorism ". To REAL human equality.

              

Support striking BATH, Maine iron workers

As a democratic socialist -very disappointed in Bernie Sanders' endorsement of Joe Biden - I would like to see the " identity politics " obsessed " liberal " Democrats - boldly support these striking iron workers in Maine.
It does seem that working class Americans -as a CLASS whatever their race or ethnic identity - need an alternative to the two capitalist parties now led by Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Donald Trump .
We need a mass American Labor Party with a militantly pro-labor platform.
And yes, ORGANIZE THE UNORGANIZED !

Ironic consequences of violent " Black Lives Matter " protests

     Can any morally sane citizen of the United States deny that " black lives matter " ?  As a democratic socialist ( disappointed in Bernie Sanders unprincipled endorsement of Establishment pillar Joe Biden )  I have always integrated mentally the evil of racism with the fundamental economic injustice of the American capitalist system.  No fanatical war on SYMBOLS and public monuments can change the CLASS status of millions of black Americans.

            Will all that passion be diverted to more-ultimately self-defeating affirmative action laws ?  In the midst of another Great Depression where millions of working class white people are jobless and hopeless ?

                To be sure " black capitalism " will not bring any social or economic justice to the vast majority of black Americans.

      WE THE PEOPLE need a mass American Labor Party.

                The brainless violence will only promote " white flight " and Apartheid USA !

                                                                         

Democratic socialists do respect CIVILIZATION and LAW & ORDER

The cause of social justice should not be incompatible with the many honored virtues of Western Civilization. What type of social justice can survive chaos , anarchy , and contempt for Law & Order ( the kind that just makes human social life possible ) ? As a democratic socialist I did have this thought way back in March : " The ' social distancing " will end when the rioting begins " . How long can BIG ( fascist ) GOVERNMENT effectively stifle human social instincts ? See you all on the Fourth of July celebrating FREEDOM and INDEPENDENCE in " OUR democracy " USA. Too many Democrat mayors and governors USA sound like East Berlin autocrats at the height of the Cold War era. Just FOLLOW MY RULES whether or not they make any sense at all. Our Gov. Gina Raimondo here in Rhode Island is recommended as Joe Biden's vice president running mate. But her favorite - no surprise - was billionaire Michael Bloomberg . What more can poor black people - ALL working class Americans - hope for with these " liberal " Democrats ?

So called " socialists " silenced in the Democratic Party?

           Just months ago  conservative Republicans were condemning the Democratic Party for being infested with " far Left " socialists -led by the Honorable Senator Bernie Sanders.  But since the Corona Virus panic ALL these spineless " socialists " have endorsed

 a 50 year pillar of Establishment politics " Sleepy Joe " Biden. 

                  Democratic socialists and orthodox Marxist socialists have always explained enduring racism in the context of the capitalist economic system, racism made more malignant by an imperialist foreign policy.

           My favorite Malcolm X quote : " Show me a capitalist and I'll show you a blood sucker ".  Way back in 1965 Malcolm X in his fiery Harlem speeches made a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism.

         Way back in 1953 Martin Luther King wrote to his wife that he was leaning toward some form of Christian socialism

           I suspect that the Democratic Party Establishment would ban the very idea of SOCIALISM just as eagerly as Donald Trump.

          Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have anything to offer the American working class of whatever race or ethnic group.

Still pillars of " OUR democracy " - public libraries - RADICAL RON IS BACK !

                 What is left of " OUR democracy " is protected by ALL the resources of America's public libraries.  Clearly critical thinking skills and respect for FREE SPEECH are lacking on the Right and on the Left in the 2020 election.
