This topic can get very convoluted. I greatly appreciate ALL the articles on this World Socialist Web Site. They are highly instructive and inspiring for dedicated -if not professional - socialist revolutionaries. But I was wary myself about socialist " propaganda " . This is directed at the MASSES -as they really are. It CAN be effective -without being dishonest or " hateful " in the judgment of the mainstream news media.
It seems to me that a CLASS understanding of the capitalist social order precludes PERSONAL animosity. Most people are what they are because of their social environment. Trump is just my age ( Lenin thought it was a disgrace for a revolutionary to be over the age of 55 ) .
What could I possibly have in common with Donald Trump ? None of the prominent rogues of capitalism and imperialism are worth the human energy devoted to the emotional extremes of HATE .
After THE REVOLUTION a lot of these people will just be FORGIVEN - " Go and sin no more ". And that will be a lot easier on a modest living wage -which has worked charmingly for me.
