American imperialism learned from British imperialism the fine art of moralizing blather. In contrast to so many other world powers " we " invariably occupy the moral high ground : High toned TV evangelism - with a Christian Zionist script - offers God's blessing to our glorious military and its industrial complex support system.
I even recall one now disgraced Catholic TV preacher saying : " Mother Mary wears combat boots ".
All these various voices of the ruling class - including both Bernie Sanders and Ayn Rand type Zionists - are despicable enemies of the working class. Even " socialist " Bernie - still describing himself as an " Independent " ( in the heart of the Democratic Party ! ) - is dedicated to American capitalism . Bernie is hardly to the left of FDR in 1932.
Is it so anti-Semitic to recommend a SECULAR Israel in which both Jews and Palestinians can sort of " get along " ?
