Why should Senator Whitehouse speak with less certainty about human caused climate change than the scientific experts themselves, the ones he has the good sense to listen to ? Science and technology did not land us on the moon in 1969 inhibited by " an admission of ignorance and uncertainty ".
Medical science is far from understanding the human brain but skilled surgeons do not hesitate to operate on a living brain.
In physics quantum uncertainty does not stop IBM engineers from spelling I-B-M with single atoms.
A reasonable doubt about anything should not paralyze ACTION. We have a planet to lose. Let the ONE PERCENT worry about a stock market crash.
