Why not just treasure the years you had and the ones you still have ? " Find strength in what remains behind " ?

The truth is, everyone should live as though death can come at any time - because it can. I’m 68, and so many friends and loved ones were lost along the way. They didn’t all get any warning. Just gone. Like everyone, I might have years to go, or I might go out for a coffee and pass away. Or get diagnosed with something galloping and be gone in a month. You are counting on life to be fair, and it is not. I would love to live into my 90’s and see more of my children’s lives, but I accept I have limited control.
