Where in late childhood in " OUR democracy " is planted faith in capitalism , American imperialism , and Israeli Zionism ? As Karl Marx said years ago " the ruling ideas are the ideas of the ruling class " . Public school education , higher education, and the mainstream news media conspire to reinforce the ideological defense of THE SYSTEM .
