Woman injured by RIPTA bus after getting dropped off [ RIPTA guilty of vehicular homicide ? ]

At Kennedy Plaza RIPTA bus station earlier last week I noticed that the electronic bus schedule signs have been OFF for many weeks now. And the squalid appearance of Kennedy Plaza for years now shows complete contempt for regular RIPTA riders. RIPTA bus drivers can be as rude and insensitive as any less than sober RIPTA rider. Why does RIPTA have such incompetent management ? This story of the woman in Providence injured by a RIPTA bus reminds me of a another RIPTA bus rider casualty circa 2015 . Perhaps " new technology " would prevent RIPTA bus drivers from running over people trying to catch the bus ? Last May , 31 year old Bobbie Moore was nearly crushed to death under the Broad St. bus in Providence. Barbara Polichetti's boss, Scott Avedisian, was quick to blame the victim Bobbie Moore-who soon got the non-person- in- South Providence treatment in the news media. How well is Bobbie recovering ? Is the Providence Journal interested ? NPR ? Pauline Goss, an eye witness to that accident, said Bobbie " was banging the bus so she could get on and he ( the bus driver ) just kept going slowly and then he ran right over her and he had to stop because everyone was screaming ". If this statement is accurate, RIPTA is guilty of vehicular homicide. And many senior citizens in Rhode Island are also delighted that RIPTA is considering throwing them under the bus too: no more free rides for the elderly ?" ] What ever happened to that poor South Providence woman , Bobbie Moore ? [ Sept 3, 2015 ]A Lifespan official told NBC 10 News on Thursday that Bobbie Moore, who was struck by a RIPTA bus on Broad Street in Providence, passed away on Monday.Moore was crushed underneath the Route 20 bus stop near the Elmwood Avenue and Broad Street intersection at about 4:30 p.m. on May 20.Witnesses told NBC 10 that Moore was chasing the bus and banged on the window to get it to stop. But RIPTA said surveillance video from the bus told a different story . " ] What about the passengers screaming for that bus driver to stop ? Of course, no " investigative journalism " from the dysfunctional Providence Journal !
