Carl Sagan's All-Time Sharpest Arguments Against Religion

The New Atheism roadshow cult recruits the ghosts of Carl Sagan and Isaac Asimov . Both these outstanding public intellectuals were unapologetic atheists. But unlike the obnoxious New Atheists their public voice and their writing voice had a decidedly SOCIALIST HUMANIST tone. In his book " The Demon Haunted World " Sagan mentioned smuggling a copy of Leon Trotsky's banned book " History of the Russian Revolution " into POST-Communist Russia. Isaac Asimov was often scathing in his reviews of Zionist APARTHEID Israel ( he thought the country will always be in a state of war with the dispossessed, oppressed Palestinians ) . These two stars of SCIENCE were never shills for Israeli Zionism, American imperialism , and global capitalism. And both were from very JEWISH backgrounds ! As a long time independent democratic socialist ( and an old Catholic , Dorothy Day ? type ) I think this shrill New Atheism " science " contributes to what writer John Horgan calls " The End of Science " " .
