As a non-scientist with some " science literacy " I was impressed by a book by the now long dead popular science writer Isaac Asimov titled " The Relativity of Wrong ". Not a few ideas of brilliant scientists were proved to be " wrong " by further investigation with more sophisticated research tools. But even their mistaken ideas were a path to relative TRUTH . Young scientists today , on the philistine MAKE , seem to be infected with an ultimately fatal HUBRIS virus. I think Sabine Hossenfelder understands this . I will follow her more on You Tube. And even visit her " store " . The last thing any scientist with life - overflowing CURIOSITY wants is final proof of a " Theory of Everything ". He just might turn to reading the Catholic philosopher Saint Augustine and " The City of God ". Anything to cure science BOREDOM
