My grandma just passed a few months ago from cancer as well, she'd been doing relatively well for about a year and a half until the treatment stopped working and the cancer spread badly. She deteriorated quickly which was really hard to see since she'd always been very lively and healthy. Cancer is such a soul sucking, evil illness that I wish nobody had to experience, especially people who seem as sweet and kind as you.
