There might be a serious psychological obstacle in the USA against mass mobilization for war. The FAKE NEWS propaganda has not been very effective in making Russia or Iran or China or North Korea more hateful than President Donald Trump . They liken him to Hitler but love and respect his military generals ? This makes no sense. How many Nazis are loved in Israel ? To be sure, OUR generals are not less stupid than the German and French generals , the masterminds of the " Horror of Verdun " more than 100 years ago. Are MILLIONS of mostly working class American soldiers prepared to sacrifice their lives to make the world safe for the plutocracy ? And what if Republican conservatives hate " liberal " Democrats even more than Vladimir Putin ? The mass propaganda for a major war is just lacking in murderous zeal . But ,of course, nuclear weapons don't hate, people do. When was the last time you met a working class person in America who just HATES Russia ?
