Identity Politics hysteria over Stanford rape case
I did read up on this case at the World Socialist Web Site. I agree with their slant on hysterical identity politics gone berserk. The law should focus on JUSTICE and the venerable concept of " innocent until proven guilty ". No judge should be bullied by agenda vindictive groups.
Even the Vice-President Joe Biden had to make political hay on this hardly unprecedented rape case. It is indeed un-Christian and truly anti-Semitic to seek the nth dimension of revenge-well beyond what the victim wants. Another news media circus.
