To be sure , the Democratic Party for years now has shown contempt for the FREE SPEECH , FREE THOUGHT tradition of Western Civilization. You can't claim to have SCIENCE on your side if you daily smother dissent on all sorts of controversial issues.
I myself am a lifelong democratic socialist. Would Elon Musk himself tolerate relentless and RATIONAL daily criticism of America's capitalist system ? Daily criticism of American imperialism's belligerent foreign policy ?
It seems to me that only news media that will tell the TRUTH is media owned and controlled collectively by the WORKING CLASS of the United States. Everywhere FOR PROFIT capitalism cheats the majority of the human race out of their basic HUMAN rights !
No matter how intelligent and brilliant and decent individual capitalist millionaires and billionaires may be they remain intellectual and economic prisoners of CAPITALISM - a Moloch monster so much bigger than puny individuals of whatever economic class. This is the crisis of CIVILIZATION in 21st century . That 1929 eerie feeling is coming back to haunt another Gilded Age .
