What about all those ridiculous statues of Newport Mansion " philanthropists " ?
As a democratic socialist I cannot respect ruling class voices preaching " morality " to the American working class. And what is the root of CLASS injustice ? The ruling capitalist class afflicts economic misery on ALL working class Americans - and also the misery of endless and stupid and criminal imperialist wars .
Are the neo Nazis attacking the working class ? Presently they just make reactionary -and impotent - noise. The Democrats and Republicans plan more war and more economic misery for working class Americans of ALL races and ethnic groups.
The ruling class and its mainstream news media want to distract the country with crackpot " identity politics ".
Do the unemployed, the homeless, the people in need of medical and dental care lose sleep over statues of Robert E. Lee ?
What about all those ridiculous statues of capitalist " philanthropists " ? What about the wage slavery of the Industrial Revolution which made them all Newport Mansion rich ? Down with their arrogant monuments ?
