Rep. John Lewis represents only the black bourgeoisie-not the black working class

  I find it ironic that Rep.John Lewis - a civil rights era icon - promotes the New McCarthyism to discredit Republican Donald Trump. 

 

The Hillary Democrats quickly evolved into a neo-con War Party, the kind anti-imperialist American author Mark Twain ridiculed more than a century ago. Lewis has disgraced " progressive " politics.

 

 Today he represents only the black bourgeoisie - not the black working class. In general the Democrats have lost touch with working class America

. Did the SWP turn rotten ?

Catholic Ash Wednesday still awesome

Just a question : How many Catholics reading this letter tune in to " Relevant Radio " ? A " traditional Catholic " might find it neither relevant nor reverent. Just a psychological observation : The Latin mass gave a certain mystical " gravitas " to Catholic Sundays. There remains solemn " Ash Wednesday " which is still very popular : " Dust thou art, to dust thou will return " . Awesome !

 

 For me it is as inspiring as atheist astronomer Carl Sagan telling me in an ecstatic tone " what hydrogen atoms can do " in less than an eternity. As H.P. Lovecraft put it : no escape from cosmic horror !


Catholic Ash Wednesday still crowds the churches

Of course, a major obstacle to FREE SPEECH right is the private ownership of the mass news media. If the general public were actually exposed to TRUTH 24 hours a day, the present capitalist economic system would not survive a month - being based on lies and brutality.
Even by bourgeois-liberal standards we are not living in a golden age of free speech and free thought . Even the Brown University campus can get pretty nasty with its " identity politics " . And the heart of this is the DNC.

The Democrats continue their sick New McCarthyism

        The democratic Left has for years now exposed CIA/FBI crimes against democracy. Why are the Democrats promoting a sick, war mongering New McCarthyism ?

      Does NPR think the American working class is foaming at the mouth for World War III with nuclear power Russia ? How nice that we have a news source independent of the American ruling class.
