The fated of my old friend Dave Nelson ( nee Gold ) after being escorted out of Beth Israel Hospital ?

Ron Ruggieri 11:13 (5 minutes ago) to Steve Thanks Steve, an update on Friend Dave: After evicting himself from Arlington Housing Authority building ( paranoid about their asbestos removal project ) , Dave , being a world class neurotic and hypochondriac, quickly managed - still frail and aged and living in a rental car with all his belongings in the trunk - quickly managed to get himself invited out of Beth Israel Hospital . So I learned from his call to me around 10 PM last night . The doctors at Beth Israel could not find clear signs of a heart attack or a stroke. They did image some nodules on his lungs ( which Dave attributes to early mesothelioma ) . Dave will call me around noon today for an update ( and an invitation to stay over ). Last night , although invited to a men's shelter , Dave slept in his rented car which seemed to be having a breakdown while he was talking to me on the phone. Could it be that, in some horror dimension way, " Death Does Not Want Him " ? Picture what was once Dave Gold now a FUNGI COVERED HUMAN FORM still studying the stock market reports in a rusty broken down , stolen rented car ! Still thinking : " What about ME ???
