To be a so-called liberal on the Brown University campus is to be uniquely out- of- touch with reality. These very privileged Ivy League kids rarely make a connection between racism and capitalism , between racism and imperialism -as black leader Malcolm X did way back in 1965. Under capitalism all races and ethnic groups are exploited and oppressed. Any reparations planned for the white working-class descendants of the New England Industrial Revolution wage slaves ? Will any reparations for black people raise them collectively right out of the American working class? No more WAGE SLAVERY for black Americans with ancestors enslaved by the Old South , by the Confederacy ? Ancestors on my mother's side ( her family name was Engley, from the Uxbridge , Mass. Engleys ) fought for the UNION after Lincoln became president of the UNITED States . How much" reparation " can the Tyranny of Political Correctness demand from me ? A cut in my Social Security check , money which they say I EARNED as a WAGE SLAVE over 40 years ?
