As a longtime independent democratic socialist I think it is ridiculous to think of Republicans ( even working class voters ? ) as a corrupt elite and not the Hollywood infatuated WOKE WARRIOR Democratic Party . Not even the so called " socialist " Democrats like Bernie Sanders seriously distance themselves from the plutocratic elite , from the pillars of capitalism , American imperialism , and Israeli Zionism . Every campaign year WOKE WARRIOR Democrats routinely, with fake seriousness, threaten to " tax the rich " wickedly but never even do that . Real SOCIALISM is not about taxing the rich . It is about abolishing landlord-capitalist PRIVATE PROPERTY rights ( by the way, this is the root cause of the permanent crisis of homelessness in " OUR democracy " ). If the WOKE WARRIOR " socialist " Democrats were for real, they would break with the capitalist TWO PARTY SYSTEM and quickly organize an American Labor Party like the British Labor Party but less stuffy and compromised . Old Bernie Sanders would not dare even to threaten it !
