Absent ground troops or an armed opposition, this requires significant defections within Iran's security apparatus. Is there a plan for how that will come together? "] What HISTORY teaches ( the American Revolution of 1776 , the French Revolution of 1789 , the Russian Revolution of 1917 , the Chinese Revolution of 1949 , the Cuban Revolution of 1959 ) : When powerful voices from wherever encourage THE PEOPLE to rise up and tell them to have confidence that they can do it , the OUTCOME might actually be unforeseen : THE PEOPLE might re-arrange THEIR government very much in their own interests . God forbid !
