Most professional scientists are EMPLOYED for narrow , specialized research in the service of Corporate Capitalism or the military industrial complex. They are not " free " to comment on THE SYSTEM . Apart from their specialty most professional scientists are dull mediocre hacks . Their ideas about THE MEANING OF IT ALL are no more cogent than Donald Trump's .
